The carnival is over! Well, the roadtrippy adventurous part of my travelling is done for the moment. I have to try and summarise this trip as best as I can since internet is so expensive and I have to go and try to organise myself and my social calendar for tonight. So I will paraphrase something else that I've already written ...

Since leaving Newfoundland, George and I have shared three ferry rides (one of which was free and only five minutes long), a lot of highways, the first snowstorm of the year, a wolf sighting, interpretive centres, a dead seal sighting, conversations with locals, road rage, hiking through snow and peatbogs, a hydroelectric power plant tour, a flat tyre, a shorted fuse, bed and breakfasts, motel rooms, pizza, hissy fits and sulking, early early mornings, bunk beds, lighthouses, PT cruiser sightings, CBC Radio, Coolio and Wu Tang Clan, barbecueing in the snow, awful Quebecois drivers, a lot of wrong turns, excessive amounts of caffeine, ice cream, poutine (and other french fry related products), stunning scenery, good company, a lot of laughs and high adventure.

George dropped me off here in Montreal this afternoon en route to Kingston, Ontario. I still have no idea where I'm going to end up, but as usual I'll keep you posted. I ran into the Lisas (friends of mine I met in Vancouver) last night in Quebec City, and hopefully I'll get to hang out with them here too.
