Well today's my lst day of work, officially! I don't plan on being in employment until sometime in September, somewhere nearer the other side of the country.

The last couple of weeks I've spent starting to organise my trip (i.e. buying tickets to places)and changing residences. I had to move out of Clarissa's and luckily one of the girls from work took me in. I stayed with her for a week and then moved back into the hostel last Thursday. It's okay for my last week here, at least I can come and go and sleep as I please. Went out a few times til very late (to Sonar and the Marble Arch) but a good time was had by all.

There are a few new photos up on Yahoo! by the way, so go and see them (some are a little bit random, but nevermind).

Random incident of the month: I was having dinner at Denny's with Michelle when a cop walked in. He started talking to the guy in the booth right behind me - "Sir, would you put the steak knife down please?" - and telling him that he's overdue at the hospital and they were going to send an ambulance for him ("It's either the ambulance or the paddywagon"). The poor crazy guy was only trying to eat his dinner. And the steak knifes were round as all hell. Eventually we were asked to move tables by the cop (maybe our conversation would enrage the mental patient?) and they eventually left. According to the waitress, the guy was a regular and never any trouble. Oh well.

I'm leaving for Edmonton on Sunday afternoon, and here is my basic itinerary for anyone who cares, is along the way, or is stalking me (I like to make things easy):

July 5 Arrive Edmonton. There until the 11th.

July 11 Arrive Banff.

July 12 Leave on Moose tour of the Rockies, go to Jasper via Lake Louise and back to Banff.

July 16 Leave Banff for Calgary. In Calgary until the 22nd.

July 22 Arrive Montreal early afternoon. In Quebec for 2-3 weeks.

August 12 Depart Toronto for Edinburgh

September 3 Depart Edinburgh for Toronto

After that, I don't know! I will be spending some time in Toronto, never fear, but I'm just not sure when. I will be heading for the Maritimes after I get back from Scotland.
