So about this time last year I sent an email out to everybody I know (yes, that's 400 plus people) to tell them I was leaving Scotland to go to Canada. Two hours later I realised I didn't have a passport, hence I stayed in Edinburgh for three more months. A lot of you know this story.

Well it happened again. I just sent out the last email (again to 400 plus people) and a couple hours later I get offered another job here. I had to have a good talk to the potential boss and took a couple of days to think about it. It's going to work in with the travelling I want to do and it pays a lot more than what I was getting before. So it's too good an opportunity to miss and all it does is just make me look like a big fat liar again (I'm sorry Jeff and SJ, I won't be coming to the Island this weekend).

It doesn't change much regarding everyone else though - I'll just be starting the travelling at the beginning of July.
