Well I'm currently in Victoria on Vancouver Island after an arduous 5 hour trip from Vancouver (well it wasn't arduous but there was a lot of waiting around and a bunch o' annoying prepubescent girls on the ferry).

I had rather a late and alcohol-fueled night last night so the waking up early this morning to sort out my affairs was really not cheery. But I did it, wrote my goodbye note in the book at the hostel in Vancouver and checked out. I'm just checking out Victoria for a few days, as I have a few more days work in Van covering the receptionist's job while she's in LA. This also came with the added bonus of covering her apartment - free rent, who could refuse? After that I will decide whether I will come back here or not. So far I like it, it's a little small but I've spent a couple of hours wandering round (til I got too hungry and tired) and it should be cool for a few weeks. Also there's the possibility of working at this hostel for accommodation (Hello cleaning toilets) - but that's 3 hours for a night which is pretty bogus (haha, bogus). So I could really just live here for free if I can't find actual employment. Then I might get a busker's licence and go twirl poi by the water. The excitement!
