This week passed relatively uneventfully until the weekend. I didn't go out much at all during the week (I figure it was to balance out going out so much the week before). On Wednesday I made last minute plans to go to Tofino on Vancouver Island with a couple of girls from the hostel. I booked the shuttle etc on Thursday morning and spent my lunchtime in London Drugs buying Easter eggs for my friends. When I got home I handed out the eggs, packed my bag and agreed to go out to the pub. Meanwhile, Cassie at reception offered me cheap tickets to Foxfest (part-day music festival that The Offspring were headlining). At this point I realised that this was one of the reasons I didn't want to go away for the weekend. Stupid me. So I agonised over whether I should leave town or not, and it basically came down to the fact that Noodles and Dexter wouldn't be here next weekend and Tofino would. Also, Cassie promised cute little skater boys, so Foxfest won out, and Michelle and I were super happy about it after I'd explained things to the girls I was going to go away with (they were fantastic about it all).

So it meant that I didn't have to get up super early (except to call the shuttle to cancel - I didn't have to pay, woohoo), so I stayed up til 5am playing pool again. Oops. At least I'm getting better! Friday I went to Lynn Valley Canyon to see the suspension bridge with Michelle & two Australian guys I'd met playing pool. We couldn't quite convince Josh to go swimming in the river, since even though the day was gorgeous, the water was still freezing. So we did a bit of adventuring, some cheesy tourist photo-taking and a lot of sitting in the sun, it was great.

Saturday I went on a terribly unsuccessful shopping trip with Michelle. I found so many things that would have been perfect for other people but nothing that I wanted. I suppose I learned that the new Hugo Boss & Lacoste men's fragrances smell good, so that's something. Oh and if anyone cares, the Ecco one is good too (thanks Tim).

I have to run cause my day at work is over. I'll try and finish this tomorrow. Oh, and the Sk8er Boi reference (Goddamn Avril Lavigne) is because a) there were a lot of Avril lookalikes at Foxfest, and b) there were a lot of little skater boys there too (literally little, they were like 7 years old).
