Nothing much has happened this week ... I was supposed to start work on Monday, which got postponed til Thursday, which got postponed til Sunday, of all days! So I had to shift my Sunday lunch at the Elbow Room til this morning (a bit of abuse, no celebrities).

Yesterday I went walking around Stanley Park all afternoon (worked out to be about 15 km, I think) - I can definitely feel it today. Last night was my intro to the national sport - lacrosse. I had no idea what it was gonna be except guys running around with sticks with nets on the end. Toronto whipped Vancouver's ass 15-6 but Vancouver seemed to win all the punch ups (of which there were a few, much to our entertainment). It was a pretty good game, although I think I like hockey more, simply because you can hear them smashing into the sides of the rink. It was good fun all round though. Gotta love the violence.
