Well, my "see what happens" attitude has paid off again - I'm now among the working population once more, after only being here a week and two days. I went in to register with Kelly Services (temp agency), scored really well on the tests (I managed to type even faster than I did last time I did one of those dumb tests), had a pretty good interview (although I realised there was a typo in my CV when I got there - mortally embarrassed), and they hooked me up with a job starting on Monday! Apparently a real estate investment firm needs a "phenomenal" person like me to do things like binding. I mean, I know I'm fantastic, but you don't need to suck up to someone who just wants a job. Unfortunately the pay's not great, but at the same time, it's a lot better than what I'd get working for the telemarketers (not that I'd ever do that). I wasn't even really looking for a job but since one came up, I'm happy to stick around for a bit.

So it looks like I'll be staying in Vancouver for the next 3 months or so, trying to scrape together some cash so I can see the rest of this country!
